DIRECTIONS TO THE MONTEAGLE SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSEMBLY (MSSA) GROUNDS:
The Monteagle Sunday School Association, which is on the National Register of Historical Places, was founded in 1882 to provide varied religious, educational, and cultural programs and activities each summer for members and guests, persons renting Assembly cottages, and the local community. In other seasons the Assembly hosts special events and provides housing to support the mission of other nonprofit organizations like the Friends of South Cumberland. FROM NASHVILLE, take I-24 east toward Chattanooga. Take Monteagle/Sewanee exit (#134) and turn right on US 41A. Travel 0.6 miles.

FROM CHATTANOOGA, take I-24 west toward Nashville. Take Monteagle/Sewanee exit (#134) and turn right on the US 41A. Travel 0.5 miles

FROM HUNTSVILLE and points west, take US 64 into Winchester, TN. This becomes US 41A, taking you through Cowan and up the Mountain. Stay on 41 until you cross I-24, the Assembly is 0.6 miles on the left.
