A couple of semi-quick news items for you today:)

Annual Meeting Saturday June 14

The Friends annual meeting will begin with a picnic lunch at noon on Saturday, June 14, at the Park Visitors Center. A program will be provided by John Froeschauer, regional interpreter with State Parks. John will demonstrate hunting techniques and other skills of Native Americans. The meeting will also include reports about Friends activities and the election of officers and directors. The Bazannia band will provide music.

Please join us!  Bring a friend to join the Friends.

Fishing and Fun on June 7: Annual Fishing Rodeo at Grundy Lakes

A reminder that you can meet Rangers Jamie Hambrock and Brent Smith this coming Saturday morning for the the annual fishing rodeo at Grundy Lakes with fishing starting at 5:30 am with the weigh in at 11:30 am.  This is a free fishing day when a license is not required.  There are several categories with prizes such as biggest bass, biggest pan fish, smallest fish, the most fish, etc.  Fishermen (and fisherwomen) must sign in before they fish to be in the running for prizes.
